Hello,
I have a problem with the CVT gearbox. It started making a lot of noise. I want to give it to a specialist, but they have long deadlines, so I have to wait.. I am enclosing a video for you to listen to how it works:

Today I checked the oil in the box and the oil level is normal, but I have the impression that it is very watery. Is it possible? Could the coolant get to the box?

This is the oil level in the gear box with the cold engine (engine turned off):

This is the oil level in the gear box with the engine temperature about 30 Celsius degrees (engine running) :

according to the service note, the oil level in the box should increase as the temperature rises. In my case it decreases. Any ideas?

what is the actual level? your pics don't show the actual level, just a smear all along the stick.

Engine running, select drive, select reverse, then place in neutral, remove dipstick, wipe, reinsert, remove, check level within 45 seconds of selecting neutral. Must be at C mark transmission cold. If it is, drive until trans is at operating temp and check, should be at H mark. If its low, add correct oil until its at the appropriate mark and recheck for correct Hot level after 20 miles minimum driving. DO NOT OVERFILL

Your level "reducing" when running means you aren't checking it correctly, and its filling the galleries and clutches with oil making it appear that you are losing oil. It has to have gone somewhere, whats leaking?

I don't see any stains in the parking place. Unless the fluid from the gearbox doesn't leave stains on the ground?

Are you suggesting to fill the fluid as the gearbox is hot?

Well, they just don't "lose oil" without it going somewhere. Have you looked under the car for any signs of staining on the body? checked the engine coolant for signs of oil?

I'm suggesting you check the level properly, use the correct oil (this is critical, you can destroy the CVT by using the wrong oil, or by even mixing oil brands unfortunately) fill it to the "cold full" mark with the transmission cold, get it warm then check and add oil as required to bring it to the "full hot" mark.

These are sensitive transmissions and this might be a job better suited to someone specialising in CVT transmissions.
