Hi all,

I just registered today on this forum so please be gentle if this isn't the correct area for this topic :) 8 Months back we bought a Jimny of 2001 and it seems that the rear drive shaft has some movement.

I took it out as initially thought that it was the ujoint having a bit space, but it seems that it is the CV joint (not sure if it is a CV joint as I am not a native English speaker) has a bit of movement that connect on the 4x4 transmission box.

My question is if this can be easily repaced. When I do searches I can only find the ujoints part for replacement, but not this particular one :(

Does anyone know if this can be replaced or that a new drive shaft needs to be installed? or a reference to this part :D

Thanks in advance,
M

U-joint is the correct term. I am not to familiar with Sammies, jimnies and the like, but I would make sure to double check that the play is in the u-joint only as the transfer case can move slightly on it's mounts and make the u-joint appear loose.
