where the heck do I get one? I can't find them anywhere on the vendors or my usual suzuki suppliers... I don't want to go to a pick a part if I don't have to. It's the bracket that slides over the splines on the clutch pedal... Mine's totally stripped out! The bolt must have loosed over the years and it stripped the splines. Hopefully that's the case, and not the cable seizing up or something.

ok, to answer my own question and for anyone else referencing this, Petroworks does sell the bracket lever for about 30 bucks. It's not on their site or in their catalog, but if you call them they will hook you up. You can buy the whole assembly with clutch pedal from a suzuki salvage yard for about 90 bucks, so Petroworks was definitely the better option. Got my part in the mail the next day!

Some of the more established 'Zook Vendors' have a large stock of parts (new and used) that can help with a project.
I have picked up used parts from:
Petroworks
Trail Tough
Hawk Strictly Suzuki (now owned by Low Range Offroad)
Rocky Road Outfitters

Used parts are usually not listed on their web sites, so call.

the part from petroworks was an OEM new part. And I just striped the splines out again today. 3 months and Time for me to get a new bracket, but this time I'm also getting a new cable and a new clutch. Without my Dual Twin Mikuni side draft carbs, there's really no need for me to have the dual friction Centerforce2 clutch. It's a lot of extra (unnecessary) strain on the cable linkage and on my leg. The new bracket should last a lot longer this time.... unfortunately, with a more civilized clutch, my samurai will be a lot more appealing for other members of my family to drive.

I just put a Petroworks High Performance clutch in mine. It is lighter than the CenterForce1 I had before, and as light as any clutch I have ever felt. I've had a Ford Festiva, Miata, and a '73 Corolla 1200 to give you an idea of light clutches I have used. I also have a 2007 Ford Focus ST, and its clutch is about the same as the Petroworks clutch in effort.

With 200 miles on it, it does not have as wide of a friction zone as the CF1 did, but I would have no qualms loaning it to anyone.

I almost put my foot through the floor the first time I pushed the pedal in. I thought I had forgotten to attach the cable to the clutch arm. I can't believe how little resistance there is in the pedal compared to before. Not sure if it's the new clutch or if the new cable has anything to do with it. I'm sure it's a bit of both. It's going to take some getting used to, but my knees and calves will thank me for it.
