Are you blowing the 20-amp ignition fuse? If so, these are the possible culprits on a 2001 4WD 2.5L V6

Yes. That's the fuse. Would it be similar to 2003 GV V6 2.5L manual?

I would assume so but I don't have documentation for a 2003 so I can't say for sure. Also I believe Suzuki introduced a body control module (BCM) in 2003. I don't know if that would affect any of these circuits or not.

One option might be a $20 30-day subscription to Mitchell 1 DIY. They claim to have repair information for a 2003 Grand Vitara.
