Unless your clutch is misadjusted the throwout bearing should not be contacting the pressure plate. Back it off with the adjustment and if the noise goes away, it will be the throwout bearing.

Usually, the chatter in the transmission is a bad internal bearing. Not to fret though, they are easy to repair and the parts are very inexpensive.

thanks...ill try that. Ive never went into the trans before but I keep hearing its simple?? lol It sounds like the chatter is right where the bellhousing and engine meet so thats why I was wondering about the throw out bearing? It all shifts ok though....
