I have a 1993 suzuki vitara 3 Dr 8valve 1600cc engine 2 wire carburator model rhd japanes . My friend gave me a carburator from a 1986 suzuki samurai American model with lots of wires coming out from it. I am usin it on my vitara , everything sits well but all I need is the two wires for the idle switch and none else, my question is what wires from the sammy carburator can i condemned and what wires I can i hook up .example runing a switch for the choke ? Please let me kno cause I reely don't need all those wire hook up all I need is choke and idle wires.

The Samurai used a Hitachi carburetor that was computer-controlled. I have never heard of the Hitachi carb being successfully modified to work properly without it's computer.

The easiest and most practical solution would be to find an exact duplicate replacement carburetor or a rebuild kit for the carburetor you already have.

I hope that this helps!
