Can you flat tow(all 4 wheels on the ground) with auto hubs?

piece of cake to remove the auto hubs just for the towing.... not an everyday thing, but for a bring home tow, just fine
bring a good 3/8 - 1/2 ratchet handle and a solid 6mm bit for socket head bolts. Bit must be LONG to clear the hub itself.

I’d be somewhat careful taking the hubs off, particularly the auto ones, as there are springs, plastic parts, snap rings, etc., and especially if they have never been removed for 20+ years.
While for the auto hubs, all you need to do is remove the 6 bolts that hold it on, you must make SURE that the hubs are in the free position when doing this.
