Hi i've recently removed all my seats to check for the wiring of my rear speakers. When I tried to remove the 3rd row seat all the bolts where cut from the head and the body of the bolts remained on their sockets... it really caused me a headache, Could I replace it with quick release screws or sumthin. Until now I still havent removed the part of the bolt that got stucked.

if parts of the bolts still sticks out - apply lubricants on the base (i used WD40) after doing that go for a coffee break or take your lunch. that would allow sometime for the libricant to penetrate =). after coffee and much needed rest prepare a hammer and a vice grip. gently tap the bolt with hammer(gentle enough not to deform/destroy it, strong enough to knock off rust) then try to use the vice grip to remove them. hope this works, if not - i have a more radical solution: if you can cut the remains of the bolt to floor level and get an electric drill (drill head about same size as the bolt's body) and drill out whats left of the bolt - this is worst case scenario.

Thats for the 'bolt removal' part.

As for the quick release screws or 'somethin' - i would suggest you give it a try. your creativity will be greatly rewarded if it works! if it doesnt, at least you tried and learned.

Hope this helps:D

I already did the oil and vice grip method hehe I think I'll have to go with the worst case scenario... yup its cut to the floor level.:(
Yeah I will just replace it with quick release screws if ever I find one hehe
it's a hassle to remove the seats.

Thanks ;)
