G'day everyone, I have a 89 sierra SJ50 and i was wondering what the best airfilter would be to put in there, and if a better filter would aid performance or mileage much?

I've recently sprayed the interior surfaces black (no carpets but rubber mats) and have filled all the cracks. I'm having a little trouble getting my speedo to the right setting, i have stock tyres on it but it still reads around 10% slower than the car is actually travelling.

I'm quite new to this so thanks for your time :)

airfilter isn't really a bottleneck on these guys.

you'd do much better with:
set of hedders (extractors)
good tuneup and carburettor overhaul.

ok cheers,
It had a 2inch system when i got it and i just got the carby acid cleaned after an incident with a deep deep puddle of mud.
The Sierra doesn't really love the water that much

There is usually an adjuster on the back of the speedo head that allows you to recalibrate it.

Speedometer Fixed!

The front springs should be flat, the rears should have some arch on them. That kit looks reasonably comprehensive, its also worth looking at the OME kit.
