Hi all. Looking for a little help. Last week the shifter on my 06 Forenza 'locked' in park. I'm able to use the lock release and start the car in neutral. I noticed the brake lights also were not working, and THINK it is the brake light switch. Does that sound reasonable? After searching around, I had to order the switch for $15. It just came in. Is this something that can be easily replaced without taking the car in to the shop? I couldn't find instuctions for the Forenza online, but on most cars it looks like just finding it on the brake pedal shaft, releasing a wire harness, rotating and removing the bad switch, and replacing. Is it really that easy? Is there anything I'm missing? I'd really appreciate the help... the dealership can't look at the car until the week after next. I'd like to just do it myself today and save the money. Thanks!

Edited: Wow, that was easy. Feel stupid for even asking the quetion now. Was a 2 minute job.
