I just bought a 2015 Swift and have paired my phone with the cars Bluetooth. I'm able to play music such as Spotify through the connection, but when I tried to make a call I could hear the person I was calling but they couldn't hear me.

There's no advice in the manual for this scenario, so hoping someone on here might have some advice?

Couple of things to check

Confirm phone settings allow call audio in the bluetooth settings on the phone (my jite 8 defaults to media only for some queer reason)
Can you dual from the phone? Has your contacts list downloaded to the head unit? If not, delete pairing and start again.

Thanks for the response. Changed the phone Bluetooth to allow calls and audio and no luck. Also tried to sync the contacts list but no luck on that either. Same when I tried resetting the connection.

I was able to call out from my car, then divert the call to my phone but when I switched back to the car the person i was speaking to could no longer here me.
