Hello everyone,
I've got a great little '91 carry mini truck imported to Canada from Japan. I would like to get better speed (performance) out of it on the highway. eg. an easy 120 kph. and quicker acceleration from say 80Kph to 120+.

Does anyone know if there is a "bolt in" engine option perhaps 1000cc?
Or are there replacement gears available for the xmsn that would give the little truck longer legs?

Thanks for any input/ideas!

what size is the engine thats in now? I have a 94/95 carry it has a 4cylinder 1000cc engine in it. before a started tuning it i could easy get more than 70mph fully loaded. If yours is a lot smaller or one of the 3 cylinder type you could try and get your hands on 1000cc 4 cylinder or have you thought about a bit of DIY tuning. They are great little things to work on and you can do loads depending on your mechanical skills.

My truck is the 660cc 3 cylinder. I'd love to "bolt in" a 1000cc 3 cyl like the one found in the Forsa. I don't want to do too much modification if any at all. I don't want to make it a "project" and I want the reliability.
Thanks from your help!
