Ok just starting a thread that might be fun. I'm a bit old school so these might seem old fashioned.but I am anyway.

My top few items.
A pencil type tyre pressure guage.

A footpump

Odb2 reader.

Costs around a tenner. Let's you know exactly what's wrong with your car. Even if your not fixing it yourself it puts you in the know dealing with a mechanic or dealer.

Pint of top up oil. Amazed how many people don't bother checking this!

Bottle of screen wash.

Spare wiper blade.

Bulb kit

Fuses.

Anyone add to that lot?

I've found tow ropes you get from motor shops like H######s to be far too short.

When I was working in the city I had to walk past a Yacht Chandler every day to get to work.
So I bought several meters of heavy duty yacht mooring rope. Only had to use it once so far and it worked better for me. Its something like ten tonnes breaking strain polyester rope. No shackles I just use knots learnt when a Scout.
Round turn and two Half hitches usually.
