Alto horn not working

I have a 2009 Suzuki Alto which I have had from new. The horn has stopped working. The fuse is OK because it also protects the hazard warning lights which are working. I changed the horn but it still does not work. I took it to a garage who said they could not find a fault but suggested I take it to an auto electrical specialist. Before I do this, which will probably be expensive, can anyone suggest where the fault may possibly lie.
Thanks

break out the multimeter, it could be the horn button, relay, corroded wiring or other wiring issues somewhere.

Don't just throw parts at it, diagnose it properly.

do you have volts at the horn wire with button pressed? work back from there until you find the issue. Can e something as simple as a bad connection, like not cleaning paint off the horn bracket so it has a decent earth.

Alto SZ4 HORN Not Working !
Just in case anyone else has this Problem , The Horn and Hazzard flashers use the same fuse. So if the Flashers work and the horn doesn't, it's most likely the Horn relay. The Horn Relay is located in the fuse compartment just behind the battery in the engine compartment. The first Relay on the left hand side is the horn. I took it out put some Vaseline on the terminals, put it back and hey Presto ! The Horn is working again.
I also treated all of the other relays to a coat of Vaseline whilst I and the cover off.
I realise that this is an old thread but maybe this will help someone else in the future

Don't use vaseline, its petroleum based, gets warm, runs down the terminals and then attacks the wiring and attracts dust leading to mysterious shorts and other issues. Use a good quality silicon dielectric grease instead
