You have a serpentine belt, this is secured/tightened via a spring loaded idler pulley, use a 1/2" ratchet to release pressure and slip the belt off a pulley... Install in reverse order..

Umm - not on the H27a V6 - there's no spring loaded tensioner there, you have to loosen the alternator and swing it on the pivot.

As tough as they are to turn, most folks end up in deep doo doo with a rounded off or broken bolt. I'd suggest just muscling that alt in and back out with a pry bar on that pivot bolt, and leave it alone otherwise. ;)

It IS a pivot point, verses an the adjustment / belt tension securing fastener, of significant torque holding need.
