Hi, I have a 2009 Alto SZ3 that I have had from new. My second MOT is due in three weeks' time. A few days ago the airbag warning light came on and has stayed on. This will mean an MOT failure. A friend of mine plugged in a diagnostic tester but it did not find any errors. Any suggestions?

Fixed ?

Did you get it fixed ? If so, what was the problem ? I have a similar problem
Have read somewhere that a minor fault on a battery can cause this...not sure how true that it

Hi, Interesting that someone else has a similar problem. The first time this happened, my local garage (not Suzuki dealer) took the airbag out and put it back. The light went out but came back on shortly after passing the MOT. My garage couldn't find any problem when carrying out diagnostic testing so they phoned Zuzuki. They were told it would be a wiring problem that would be labour intensive and Zuzuki would charge £260. My mechanic told me that there was an alternative. Take the bulb out! I wont tell you what option I chose!
