Hello all,
New to forum. I am having some issues on my girlfriends 2009 SX4. The right rear ABS speed sensor needs replaced. The trac and abs light are on. I had a mechanic with a snap on scanner tell me.
Now a couple of weeks later the transmission is now reving sporadically when i put it in D or 3 (not moving). We haven't been driving it. Would the sensor cause the transmission to act up like this or is the trans slowly going? The car has 140k miles on it. The fluid was changed with correct stuff earlier last year (no issues).
Just need some advice as I don't want to replace the entire wheel bearing with sensor if the trans is dying.
