'98 Tracker Remove Alternator

Hello! I removed the 3 bolts and the plug/screw. The alternator moves back and forth but I can't pull it off bottom mount area. How do I remove it? And is it removed towards the top or underneath? Thanks!

if you took the 3 M8 bolts out, it should come off....

try using a tire lever (but no brute force!) between the alternator body and the bottom bracket (see bottom picture) to leverage it out. some WD40 could help too.

I got it! I just need to tap a screw driver on each side until it came off. Then remove a mounting bracket above it to pull it out.
