New to the site. Looks like great info to be had. I just acquired a '94 Sunrunner, Automatic, with real low original mileage. Runs great for the most part. Am putting suspension and body lift in soon. I'm going to use this as my main hunting rig. My problem is that the vehicle will intermittently not start. Give it an hour or so and then it will. The condition is I'm sure related to all that business re not being able to start unless in N or P, foot on brake etc. When the condition arises I can hear the fuel pump running in either N or P, just no cranking. In frustration the one time I had the key turned to on and at the same time ran the shift lever through all the gears and away it went. Is there a relay associated with the shift lever or brake that could be giving me this problem? Or am I looking in the wromg direction? Any info is greatly appreciated.
