Hey guys i have a 92 tracker that i built the transfer case to 4.24:1, i still want a lil more low end torque. Low ranger 4x4 has a kit to put the 99 tracker drivetrain into it. Does anyone know if the 92 transfer will fit on the back of the 99 transmission.

If I understand your plan, you want to put a 99 Tracker drivetrain into your 92 Tracker and keep the 4.24:1 low range gears - is that right?

The answer to your question is dependent on which 99 Tracker drivetrain you plan on using - if it's automatic transmission, the answer is - it should fit, if it's a manual transmission, there's a second question - what engine? If it's a 2.5 V6, the answer becomes, it won't fit, if it's the 2.0 four cylinder, we're back to - it should fit.

I want to suggest though, that you consider taking the 4.24:1 gears out of the 92 case and installing them in the 99 case, because there are differences between the two.
