The ball joint in the rear upper control arm (wishbone) is part of the entire control arm assembly, yes? I see on all the different parts breakdown, that you cant order just the ball joint. Mine is shot, and can feel a thud everytime I take off from a stop.

Be careful, I sheared off the four bolts that tie the upper link to the diff. and it was like the tail wagging the dog, very dangerous.

I checked with McIver..... use farmers' baling wire and duct tape.. replace as required..

Still getting that thud/thunk when releasing the brake pedal from a stop. I replaced the rear upper control arm a couple weeks ago. I replaced the rear brake wheel cylinders and fluid last year. Maybe I just need to re-bleed my brakes? (and BTW, that ball joint on the control arm was loosey goosey to say the least).
