Hello all,

I've got a '90 Tracker that while driving, blew the 30 amp fuse that controls the ignition and apparently all of the engine gauges. I got it to a local shop a block away, where we replaced the fuse and it started and ran fine. I took it home (with some spare fuses on the advice of the mechanic) and shut it down. A couple of hours later, I started it, let it run a while, and went to test drive it. As I opened the door to get in, the fuse blew again...I saw the flash at the fusebox. I don't know that it had anything to do with the door, but it happened at the same time. Now it blows the fuse right when I turn on the key.

Has anyone had a similar experience so I know where to even begin trying to find the short?

Many thanks.
