Last weekend I installed a SPOA from LowRange including 1" drive shaft spacers, brakelines, and an Add-a-leaf. I got more lift than expected. My Samurai is now about 8" taller. I am definitely going to have to add a "Z-link".

My question is about my driveshaft. It feels and sounds like it is in a bind.

1.) Does 8" require changing the angle of the axles?

2.) If so, how tall can you go w/o a problem?

I think I'd rather drop down a few inches than get into all of that. Thank you in advance for your advice.

you're probably ok on the angle but you should spend the extra money and get an over the spring steering system because your zuke is gonna handle a whole lot different now.

What kind of shocks do you have? Im thinking of getting a lift but i want too get a softer ride as well. It rides like a tank right now.

I've got an '87 with the spoa and I can't get over 30mph without it getting squirrelly! If you run in to this problem let me know.. Maybe one of us can figure out what's going on!!
