Howdy all. I would like a part number to name match for the steering
knuckle assembly seals on an 87 Samurai JX that someone has confirmed to work/fit.
Timken numbers seem to be available, but when looking them up
in a catalog, the sizes just do not seem right.
example:
Steering Knuckle Seal, Outer (weather seal) = 710330?
Axle Shaft, Inner (gear lube) = 710255? / BeckArnley #052-3346?
Wheel bearing seal, inner (Grease) = 710256?

Also, Would it matter if the axle came from an 86/87 not JX?

I have found other numbers and do not wish to order the wrong ones.
Any help?
Thanks

low-range off road has all those parts in stock, I've purchased lots of parts from them and they are a great bunch of guys, it's a small company so they have time to answer your questions and care about your order...

Thanks - bin there. @ $45 per side I figured having the part numbers of individual
seals would keep the cost down. Just how sites discribe the seals is a bit confusing.
I did some measurements and research and was able to seal both sides for about $50.
Just for fun, do you know what part (if not more than one) used on a Samurai is also
used in a Porsche 911?
