Ok Im re ordering my wheels for my 06 grand vitara (long story, big mixup on stud pattern) But, should I go with 20s or could I possibly go larger. Im leaning towards 20s but Im not sure which size tire to go with so that it looks just right. Any help is appreciated, pics are too if you have a set on your GV.

If you have the 225/70R16 stock the closest 20" size easily available is 255/45R20 which is .63" taller and 1.18" wider than stock. You would probably go with 265/30R22 which is .15" shorter and 1.57" wider than stock. There could be some rubbing with the 22" being that wide.
If you have 225/65R17 stock the same 20" size is only .52" taller and the 22" is .26" shorter than stock. Width is the same differences.
If you have any other question just ask. I sell wheels and tires for a living.

What size would you reccomend for my 06 GV, I have the 16s. I dont think that I will go with 22s due to the look of them. I dont want low profile tires, but not thick tires, if you can understand what Im saying. Any help appreciated

Thanks

If you want to go with bigger wheels do 18's. Use a 235/55R18. It is not a real thin sidewall but not to big either. You will still have a decent ride and it will be better handling than 20 or 22.
