my 2022 Jimny is in the Dominican Republic. I bought it new in 2021 and the only Suzuki dealership is over 2 hours away from where we live. (All the Jimny's imported here have automatic transmissions)
I'm seriously thinking about getting rid the stock 15" rims and tires and buying thru Jimny Style in the UK their retro style wheels - HIGH PEAK J-O1 and installing 16" Goodrich 215/70R16 tires. That's the tire size JimnyStyle is recommending with stock suspension and these rims..
JIMNYSTYLE
What are the chances the TPMS will not work properly with the larger size wheels and tires? JimnyStyle is saying it will calculate fine and not to worry.
But the owner's manual has tons of warnings about going aftermarket w/different size rims and tires.
Does anybody have experience with this sort of thing?
