Evening all, just joined and bought a brand new swift sz3 as it was cheaper than buying used/near new.

I just wanted to ask as there's a few sat Nav units floating about from breakers. Is it easy to change from the factory standard Dab radio to the factory sat Nav unit in terms of hardware and wiring etc. I've changed a few over the years but if it needs coding etc then I don't really want to go down that route if it's too much of a faff.

Thanks in advance

Depending on model of head unit and market they will have a security code, and are also integrated into the BCM.
If its just nav you want, go for a stick on unit, they usually have free map updates unlike the inbuilt units.
