hi everyone ,,
actually i'm a chevy guy and i was working with my friend on his car which is the jimny 2015 and recently we installed 1.8 liana engine on this car ,, the car is working perfect but he facing temperature problem when he drive off road and when the car on the load ,, he said even if he stopped the car the cooling fan can't reduce the temp, we replace the mechanical fan to the electrical fan during the swap project ,, and FYI guys he use the harness and ECU for stock engine 1.3 on the liana 1.8 engine ,,

so do you think guys he need to tune the car or there is another solution to decrease the temp

please i need your advises

Can a 1.3 radiator even support the increased cooling needs of a 1.8?

I would try refitting the mechanical fan, electric fans can often prove to be more troublesome.

Its a fairly common conversion in Australia, elsewhere its not very feasible because the M18A engine wasn't used in other regions.
