So I just purchased my 2012 Kizashi on the 18th of this month and something in the gearbox or transmission has already broke. Since i drove it off the dealer i noticed a weird vibration every time i let go of the gas. In all the gears, as soon as i would let go of the gas, the car would noticeably shake as if i had changed gears but i never touched the clutch... This shake/vibration kept getting stronger until yesterday when I was accelerating up a highway ramp, changing from fourth to fifth gear, the gearbox jammed up. With the clutch pressed I could not get out of neutral! I had to pull over on the highway to figure out what happened. I went through all the gears with the car turned off and it worked fine except for first. It simply didn't want to go into first... I turned the car on and it finally went to first without problem. So i decided to try and make my way home when all of a sudden when going from first to second a horrible grinding noise! Although I had the clutch pressed all the way down, when i pulled for second, all i heard was the grinding.. Maybe the flywheel broke or something... I was able to get home but this is definitely a problem! I put most of all my money down on this car and I don't have the money to fix a faulty box or tranny.. Does anybody know if this sounds like it might be covered by warranty or maybe even the lemon law :/?

Hang in there!

l had something similar happen to me. I had to have a 2011 SLS AWD towed back to the dealer twice the first month for not starting. Found to be incorrectly seated ignition connections under the dash. The dealer and Suzuki were very attentive and committed to making it right. Consequently, my faith in humanity and Suzuki has been restored. Incidentally, the car has been running flawlessly since then. Call the dealer, Suzuki roadside assistance and get the car back to the dealer. I am sure it'll be taken care of under the warranty. They'll provide you with a rental car while the repairs are being made. Believe me I know how disappointing and inconvenient this is, but remember that anything man made is prone to failure. I wish you well. :)

It'll be warranty. Hell at this point even the clutch is covered lol....sounds like something came apart in the transmission or has excessive play...you'll prob just get a brand new "whatever" is found to be wrong.
