Good day All,

I'm a small Caribbean island called Barbados/

I have a 2010 3 door GV 1.6l with full time 4wd. I have it raised 2.5" on stock rims with Maxxis Big Horn 245/75. I'm looking to do some more modifications as I want to do some serious trailing and I was wondering if there was anyway I could get the 4 mode 4wd which is found in the 5 door gv. Would I just have to buy a transfer case and a switch or is it a more intricate(very difficult bordering on impossible) process? Has it been done before?

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

I posted a couple shots of my ride

Aside from a 4-mode transfer case, for a stock solution you would need a controller and switch. You would need to go through the wiring diagrams carefully to be sure all the required signals are present and the indicators on the instruments to indicate status.

The 3-door GVs sold here are 4-mode.

Thank you very much for your prompt response kiwi. I just wanted to know if it is worth the effort. So you know if it has ever been done before?
