Hi All,

i have an 2008 suzuki sx4 2008 model 60000 kms run retrofitted CNG(Normal lovato kit).
first 1 year no problem worked like a charm and then suddenly idling issues,
22000 on CNG have regularly changed plugs and done throttle body cleaning also have the car checked for any sensor related issue but all ok with that.. issue is resolved for about 200 kms and then back to normal..

this is frustrating other wise as on petrol the car is smooth no stalling no idling.. my daily driving is in city traffic and its frustrating to keep switching between petrol and cng while driving.

Please help..

Thanking in advance..
Manish

I don't have experience of SX4 gas conversion, but I had a LPG converted car for many years. I had to reset the ECM every 3 months or so, by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. The rough idle was caused by the ECM trying to correct the timing and failing, because all the sensors are giving measurements inconsistent with petrol operation.

Suggest you try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and see if that makes a difference.
