Who has been using 2.5-3" backspacing on their Samurai?
More specifically, also using 33"x12.5"xR15 tires on 15x9" wheels.
I am wondering whether they have encountered any rub at full steer and articulation, whether they have noticed more laboured steering, whether they have noticed increased stress and shortened lifespan on their wheel bearings, shafts, etc.
I understand that using such wide wheels is already adding some unwanted leverage and that less backspacing just makes it worse, but this is also a very light vehicle with, what seem to me, very stout wheel bearings for its size.
Any feedback from experience is much appreciated.
