Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I need advice. I have a 1995 Geo Tracker 2whl drive. The clutch pedal stop is broke, and thus, the last owner must of just adjusted the clutch cable to make up for it. The clutch must be 3 inches higher then the brake pedal, and I would like to get things adjusted back to normal. Anyway, when looking at the assembly, it looks like I may have to remove the assembly as a unit, as, the clutch bolt is so long, and will not clear the side. Am I wrong? Also, can someone explain the procedure to removing either just the clutch pedal, or as a unit? I would appreciate any advice.
I plan on repairing the stop bracket that was welded on the upper arm of the pedal and straighten and re-weld and reinforce..
