Inexpensive AWD speed:

--Runs good, shifts good, paint looks decent - small surface rust by front corner lights and in front of rear wheels, paint flaking off front bumper, dent below driver's side mirror, hood is now black with brand new paint. Was used as my DD, amazing snow car, has been very reliable. Compression tested excellent. With boost set to where it is, the car is around 260-270 whp. At higher boost levels this is a low 12 second capable setup. Left the boost where it is to stay out of trouble and still return 20 mpg in mixed driving.

--Details:
--real MHI Evo3 big 16g, ported (less than 10K miles, no shaft play or oil leaks)
--2G exhaust manifold and O2 housing, both ported
--dejon tool sidemount intercooler
--Denso 560cc injectors
--Walbro 255 fuel pump
--ACT 2100 pressure plate and street disc (less than 10K miles)
--3" turbo back exhaust
--crushed 1G bov
--OEM wheels and good tires (toyo all-seasons or dunlop snows, you choose)
--2G MAF with K&N filter
--SAFC with conservative street tune
--ARP headstuds
--balance shafts removed
--front motor mount filled
--Autometer boost gauge installed in-dash
--strut tower bars front and rear
--Greddy turbo timer
--Greddy counterweighted shift knob
--new pads and rotors front and rear
--SS braided clutch line
--all A/C parts removed
--caps replaced on ECU
--new ball joints and outer tie rod ends

--all regular maintenance stuff has been done less than 10K miles ago, plugs wires, water pump, timing belt, accessory belts, headgasket, O2 sensor - using only OEM Mitsubishi parts - aside from plug wires, they are NGK.

--UPDATE: the car hs been sitting for a while (I know, tsk, tsk, but I just have too many cars and too many projects), and small issues have arisen, making me drive the price down to $3800:
---driver's window motor is slowing down and the passenger side track is now shot (the window falls out of alignment and must be manually lined back up with the channel).
---transmission will sometimes hang up in 5th and reverse, the shift cable that controls side to side movement is binding up slightly and tends to act up if the car has not been driven for a week or so. End case has been taken off the transmission, 5th and reverse internals have been inspected and are a-ok.

I have a better condition driver's side door with window regulator, motor, and track. The spare passenger door that I have sadly has been gutted of all window hardware, unknown to me until about two weeks ago. My spare set of shift cables has also disappeared.
