I bought 1" spacers to put on my 98 2 dr. All I'm wanting is to level it. So I'm just putting them on the front. I know on the 2" spacer lift that you have to use strut spacers too or flip the mount or something like that. I've always just used the strut spacers myself. My question is w a 1" spacer will I need a strut spacer or will it be ok w just the coil spring spacer? Plan on doing it tomorrow so I hope to hear from you all. Thanks.

I installed one inch spacers in my 97 over a year ago and didn't do anything else, like flipping the top strut mount. So far, it's working great and now my Tracker sits level. They actually lifted the front over 1-1/4".

There were some suggestions to replace the front springs, but if that didn't raise it, then I would have had to install spacers anyway. I opted to do it only once.

Front only, because it sat low in the front. I wanted the extra clearance for some light off-road use in the CA desert. I purchased mine from RRO.
