hey guys new to the site , just picked up a 1988 sami and it has a 1.9 suzuki swift motor in it, they had took the stock fuel tank out and put a fuel cell in and they had a inline fuel pump that ran 5-9 psi and wasnt enough to keep it running, can anyone tell me what they think would be enough gpm or psi ?

Let's put it this way - I'm not aware that Suzuki ever built a Swift with a 1.9 litre motor - but - I haven't really kept up with the newer Swifts. the "post 2005" years, so it's not impossible.

Now - into an 88 Samurai - mmm - are you sure that was a 1.9?

What's the engine number? Is it carbureted or fuel injected? 5~9 psi is a little high for carbs and very low for fuel injection.
