I was wondering can you put a 1.6 8v head on a 1.3 block and if it can be done what parts are needed to make it work? What are the pro's and con's?

I t will bolt right on...problem will be your cam...the 1.6 ran on an electric fuel pump and yours most likely runs on a mechanical pump so the 1.6 doesn't have the lobe to run the emchanical push rod...you'll have to run an electric fuel pump which again, is no biggie...just something you need to be prepared for.

You haven't posted your location. If you are in a country that had the carb 1.6 then that is the head to use, you will need the 1.6 fuel pump because its bigger than the 1.3 item

Another thing to look out for is the teeth on the pulleys. If you don't swap them to match, you will notice that one has square teeth and the other has rounded teeth. Better to catch it before you destroy a belt...
