This noise just started today on my drive home along with the check engine light coming on. See you tube Video to hear it.

YouTube

With in the last year I've changed the head gasket (twice) and all seals that came in the head gasket kit along with both belts, spark plugs and spark plug cables, a heater hose and radiator inlet hose. I would rather push the car off a cliff then have to get back into the engine.
The noise isn't there when first starting as you can hear and gets louder with RPM it sounds like it's coming from the EGR valve area. I'm thinking a lifter or two on that side of the motor or something between the transmission and the engine. But I really have no clue. I'm going to take it and read the code for the light. I've check all the fluids and there good even added a little extra oil after this started today.

If anyone has any ideas that would help out a lot.
Thanks
Justin.

Well I just tried taking the car to auto zone to have the computer read out. Needless to say I didn't make it there. Car started up just fine with out the noise I was able to back out of the parking spot and drive away. About a half mile down the road the transmission started to slip and had a really hard time getting into second gear. No hold light on the dash. When I got to the stop light I couldn't move forward when it turned green. No power going from the engine to the transmission. Put it in park shut off the car and waited. When it turned green again I started up and was able to drive a way just fine that is until I got about 50 yards down the road I had a major slip issues not only would it not shift gears but there was very little power getting to the transmission. It's an automatic tranny. In the past I've had the hold light come on but would restart he vehicle and it would go away.

I was able to get a code reader from a buddy at work and Ive got three transmission codes that popped. P0741,P0783 and P0700.
I know P0700 is a basic transmission had a fault, but what common part would cause P0741 and P0783 that would be related to the noise that I'm getting?

Damn that is a horrible noise... but good diagnosis video. I was going to say that really sounds like its coming from the transmission area - but you already figured that out. My guess would be trans fluid pump is on its way out, which is inside the transmission and driven by the engine when its running.
