Hey folks, my 91' Sami has been giving me fits since I bought it. Long story short I Ended up rebuilding the entire short block (pistons, rings, bearings, rods etc). After the rebuild it was running, but I wouldn't say very well. Lots of white smoke at idle, but it would go away when it got up...
JB420 made for UK market
Getting a drivetrain noise that I think is a faulty output shaft bearing.
So it's probably time for a transmission rebuild.
Question is though, is the VIT5 rebuild kit (ZMBK293BWS) I see round the internet the right one for my transmission?
I see multiple sites saying it...
So considering the fuel price of E10 is cheap in Australia where I am, I am considering buying an old worn out M15A engine and rebuild it to suit Ethanol type fuels as a home project.
Has this been done before? Is this possible? Or can these engines already handle E10?
