  1. Suzuki Kizashi
We are trying to replace the clutch plate. Cannot find one for the 2010 Kasashi. Not a factory item anymore. My son said he has read that the SX4 clutch plate while not identical will still work. Did not work for my experienced mechanic. It seems to be too thin. Does anyone know a work around?

  4. Suzuki Carry & Every Forum
Hi everyone! I'm based in the UK but most of my questions could be answered by everyone. I would like to change the clutch on a very dear friend's 2001 Carry for him; trying to save him a few bob. I have found it very hard to get workshop info about the vehicle (doesn't seem to be a haynes...

Hi all, new to Vitara's just bought an 05. 1.6 SE Grand Vitara, quite cheaply. Reason it was so cheap is it has a couple of issues and I'm hoping you guys can point me in the right direction to getting this beast 100% again. Clutch freeplay: Is currently excessive, looks like a bush in the...

I just finished replacing my clutch, flywheel, TO bearing, pilot bearing and clutch cable on my 1991 Suzuki Sidekick, but I can’t seem to get it adjusted. I followed the FSM (thanks Rhinoman!) for free play but there is clearly something wrong. I do have 1” of cable travel at the free play...
  7. Sidekick/Escudo/Vitara/ Geo/X-90 &Tracker(’89-’98)
Hey I got a 96 sidekick 2 door 4wd 16 valve manual. Ive had this high pitched whine for about a week coming from the right hand side. Literally sounded like radio feedback, but only around 30mph and up. Then today I was coming home on freeway doing about 60mph and I felt a lapse in power. Like...
  8. Sidekick/Escudo/Vitara/ Geo/X-90 &Tracker(’89-’98)
Hey Guys. I got a 1996 Geo Tracker 2x2 wagon I think is the same as the Vitara. I've fixed everything on it but this. The clutch works fine on the five speed but after it's depressed it only returns to the point of disengaging and doesn't come back up like the clutch bearing is free but still...
  9. Other Suzuki Models
Hi, I picked up a 2018 Suzuki Celerio a couple weeks ago with only 8,000 miles on the clock. It was driving fine for around a week but it's started becoming quite jerky during low speed driving in 1st and 2nd gears, the car is only 2.5 years old with 8,000 miles on it so I thought surely to...
  10. Suzuki Ignis Forum
Midway through a DIY clutch change on a 2006 4WD Ignis 2 GLX1.5 and its getting tight... Advice welcomed from anyone who's done this without a post lift. The driveshafts are off, and we're trying to work out if we should take off the Transfer box then the Gearbox, or if we can lower them both...
