Default 2004 Verona O2 sensor help

I'm a mobile mechanic doing some work on a customers car, the code checked out as O2 Sensor 1, Bank 2. I did some research and found that bank 2 is the passenger side of the vehicle, and sensor 1 is the first sensor (pre-cat). I changed it out but the light is still on after attempting to clear the code by disconnecting the battery for 15 mins.

This picture from a member on here (I can't remember the name, but credit is due there) is very similar to what I saw in the Verona, except for the additions in green that I made, which refer to the sensor locations in the verona. (As near as I can tell anyway.

Did I replace the wrong sensor? Everything leads to me taking out the wrong one, but I don't see how, it seems very straightforward. I need to take care of this customer, they have to pass inspection on monday.
