Default P2118 - Throttle Actuator Control Module?

Hello,

Engine light is on. '04 Verona - 68,000 miles.

I took it to Autozone to have them check the code and it came back as P2118. On their printout it had no Suzuki section on it but the other brands all had throttle control problems

Question is, can anyone confirm this? And what do I do now... anything to check or do I have to take it in to the dealer? Can an independent garage handle it?

yes. looks like the throttle actuator is part of the throttle body and not available separately. very expensive part.
maybe try wreckers..

Thanks for the reply.

I just remembered about the powertrain warranty. Would this be covered under that? I'm pretty sure the 7 years isn't up yet - though the 70,000 is pretty close... At least that's what I think the powertrain warranty was/is.
