Default No Heat and no light on fan speed knob

Does anyone have any hints, helpers or anything that can assist me in taking apart the dash on a 2004 Verona?

The light behind my fan speed indicator is not working.
And...
This weekend I went to turn the knob for heat but was meet with no resistance. it's like the link between the knob and the actual flap that controls the heat flow broke off. So I need to get behind the dash to have a look.

So has someone posted a how to on this?

thanks,
Hutch

Are there any mechanics in this forum?
The dealership just called me.

Said something about a control head that was melted which is why I have no heat in my car. Anyone have any clues about this?

That and the O2 sensor will be over $600.

I can do the O2 sensor myself...but this control thing I've never heard about.

Any help??

Hutch

Found out that the controls behind the dash had melted. Suzuki covered it all. Even though it was out of warranty Suzuki still covered it. Thats a great company.!!!
