Default Good deal? And are these cars as bad as the reviews say?

Looking at purchasing a 2005 verona EX 4 door, 72,000 miles price is $3750

Looks really clean on the internet, but by the poor reviews I don't know if it is worth going to look at.

Are the reviews that realistic or are they just lemons?

I will be driving this car across the country in a week, and would like it to last until 160,000 miles with no major problems. By reading the reviews it seems this is an impossible feat for this car.

Well in city driving I would say go for it. But traveling cross the country made me crack up by rememberING what happend to me. I bought my epica same car different badge on it . Wanted to drive from halifax to Toronto which is 16 hours drive half way the engine blew on me. Trust me if you buy it something will differently go wrong with it and you will arrive in the other end of the states in a rental lol

I've never owned one, but based on their dismal sales numbers new, and the fact that I rarely see one running around today, speaks volumes to me!

I own a 06 verona LE. I must say that i love my car. i hear the same stuff all the time and yes something will go wrong with it... but then again what affordable used car doesn't? I've only had 1 thing go wrong with mine since i got it and trust me i put a lot of stress on it. Its definitely worth the drive to check out
