I know right.... like smart cars or even civics, its a profitable business and all expenses are written off (but yes, still costs more) these cars just seem to have all the right features I want, and most importantly AWD, we get quite a bit of snow here in saskatchewan, and just last weekend we got hit with like 2 feet, and the roads were either deserted or with 3 or 4 stuck cars on.. it was BAAADD. but that said, plowing into big snow drifts in some cases, awd or not, wont be getting you anywhere.
I would only keep them as far as the warranty more than likely. will be buying extended for sure, possibly selling with some left too. as for the company, its only a payment, so after these cars are done, I would just look at going through this situation again. however, if it turns out that these end up being one of those cars you can keep forever and put 500 000km on with a single motor rebuild a tranny swap, then so be it, I would keep them as backup cars.....
I just need to make sure im getting into the right vehicles the first time around, that can possibly be used passed my expectations.
you might also say, go buy a bunch of beater cars and throw them away when you are done with them but thats what I have been doing, and its time to step it up. having warranty is a big load off my personal shoulders as im the company mechanic. itll free up alot of my own time, so new w/ warranty is what im going for, maybe I should have posted on more of a generic car forum. Ive already been recommended kia's, like why spoil myself with jlx's, when I could get twice as many base model kias....
