Default Wiring diagram for 2009 sx4

Hallo everyone. I recently bought a 2009 sx4 and am trying to replace the stock radio. The wiring diagrams I found on the net shows different coluered wires in the harnass than what is in my car. (Did the colours change at some point?). I'd really appreciate some help.

This is probably the same as you found on the net. As you say I can only assume 2009 onwards is different.

Hi Darrell. Thanks for your post. You're right: I saw that one on the net. I need to figure which weird colour goes where.

Can you not get a purpose made adaptor to save you cutting wires.

I'd still treat yourself to something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Suzuki-ster.../dp/B00JEWVEZA

You may need another adaptor if you want the steering wheel controls to work.

You're right! Thank very very much.

I'm shopping around for a female plug, but the exchange rate and shipping to South Africa is a real killer. Hopefully something will come along.

I made up a 3.5mm jack that will link to the 2 steering wheel control wires (to fit the Sony I have). Hope it works.

Thanks again.
