Question Back Seatbelt Stuck

The back passenge seatbelt has retracted into it's holder. I'm on my own in a rural area with no car repair around. I'm trying to figure out how to remove it. I snapped off the panel but the mechanism has rolled up (it appears) inside the metal frame. Ideas??

Are you still working on this? If the belt has disappeared completely into the frame it must have been cut otherwise the buckle at least would still be there.
