Question Tranmission will not engage in Drive gear (intermittent problem)

Suzuki SX4 2009 automatic

I have an intermittent problem occurring approximately once a week when the car's been sitting in the driveway for a few days. In the morning when i first start the car the drive gear won't engage. Shutting down the engine and starting it again usually solves the problem. I sometimes have to restart the engine more than once for the transmission to engage.

I have changed the sensor but it didn't solve the problem.

Anyone else had a similar problem ??

Thanks

The speed sensor was replaced.

Fluids were checked recently and they were ok....
