Default 207 SX4 AWD Button

Hello everyone,

I would like to about the function for the AWD of 2007 SX4.

Three Choices
1. 2WD
2. AUTO
3. OFF

If i choose 2WD, It look's like the auto is included already? am i right?

What will happen if i turn it off? is it still ok to drive?

Thank you guys, i just have it pre owned recently.

What I see, just like mine is: 2WD, AUTO, LOCK

THE lock position must be held for a few seconds for 4LOCK to engage.

I'm guessing the original poster may be assuming that because you have to pass through the AUTO position to get to the 2WD position, that 2WD includes AUTO.

That is not the case. All 3 positions on the switch are independent and perform the function as identified by that position.
