Unhappy ESP & Engine light HELP!!!

Hello,

Pls advice - My 2009 XXE has been giving me lots of trouble. For a long time I needed to drive to work and did with the engine light going on & off at times. In december 2016 I finally changed the catalytic converter - and paid a lot of money for it. Now after a new converter, new ignition, new plugs the ESP light started to go on and with that the engine light as well. It usually goes on after a drive for abt 20 minutes on a highway.
My mechanic has no clue and I have a feeling he is going to charge me a lot for his guessing game again.
PLEASE HELP!? Thank you!
Cy

Sounds like you need a mechanic, not a parts changer..

Would be beneficial if you let us know what country you may be in and what vehicle you drive..

Also include any MIL codes you may have

Had the same problem with the motor management light. A computer update fixed the problem.
